After many years of traveling and taking pictures I decided in 1986 to take my photography to another level. With the support of my wife and family I formed Treeline Photography and started to market my work.
I grew up on the Canadian border in upstate New York. My playground as a child was the outdoors. My dad was a country pastor and didn't have a lot of material things, but between my parents they introduced me as a young boy to the Creator of all things. I spent my free time camping, exploring, and experiencing creation and its natural resources. Little did I know that this experience would help as I ventured into the world of photography.
Over the years I have had the privilege of meeting many of the greatĀ photographers of our time who encouraged me to continue on my journey. I also have had the opportunity to join forces with organizations whose charter is to protect and preserve wilderness areas which has given me a greater appreciation for these wild areas.
My images have been published in books, magazines, newspapers, and calendars. My clients include Fortune 500 companies; and my work is displayed in galleries, private collections, and business establishments throughout the United States.
As I travel my belief in the Creator is continually renewed as I marvel at the beauty and balance of the natural world. I continue to discover color, form, and light that continually changes, the order of the seasons and the thrill of coming upon wildlife in its natural environment.
If I can leave you with one thought it would be that we are the stewards of this Earth. It is our responsibility to use and take care of what we have been given in a responsible manner.
Thank you for viewing my gallery, Don
